SOUTHERN STAR is hull no 5 of the successful RPN 78 mini-series, built in 2004.

She features Reichel Pugh naval architechture and interior design by the Italian company Nauta Design, and displays slippery hull lines, a fin and bulb keel, a high aspect ratio and balanced rudder. 

She is an exceedingly well rounded yacht, demonstrating high performance cruising but using simple sailing systems, free from unnecessary technology. She is the ideal cruiser-racer, perfect for both relaxing blue water cruises and for competitive racing. SOUTHERN STAR came fifth place in the Barcelona Race 2005 and first place in the Boat International Superyacht Race in 2008.  She has a modern, bright and spacious dining and saloon area below deck, which consists of a table seating 8 - 10 guests and a comfortable lounging area opposite.

There is a large master cabin and two guest cabins, one with twin beds and one with bunk beds. All three have an en suite bathroom facility.

SOUTHERN STAR comes equipped with three crew members who will ensure maximum comfort, enjoyment and safety on board, whether at anchor or under sail.
