The Gold Cup is a special edition for 10 to 20 prestigious yachts (65ft+). Participants race three days from bay to bay. Moor at the most astonishing locations. And enjoy a highly engaging and proven program. Everything is based on the successful ingredients of the Ibiza Regatta. An enthusiastic team professionally organizes exciting races and a surprising and unforgettable full board program at special venues. A very accessible atmosphere with great mood and group dynamics are guaranteed.
Experience turquoise waters, picturesque bays, breath-taking sunsets/sundowners, white beaches and a warm sea breeze. PROGRAM*
Weekend of May 30th/31st and Monday June 1st – Arrivals at Ibiza / Marina Es Nautic Arrival and make yourselves comfortable; sail or explore the island at own time. The brand new club house of Marina Es Nautic is host and home base of the Ibiza Regatta Gold Cup.
Tuesday, June 2nd – Grand opening @Villa Mercedes Ibiza Registration, practice competition, skipperbriefing/race instructions and grand opening with welcome cocktails and dinner at Villa Mercedes with a LIVE performance of the great guitar virtuoso Paco Fernandez.
Wednesday, June 3rd – Race day 1 to Formentera Crew breakfast at the Club house of marina Es Nautic, race to Formentera and finish/anchor at breathtaking Illetas, price ceremony, happy hour and dinner at idyllic beach club with your yacht in sight of a sun downer.
Thursday, June 4th – Race day 2 to Ibiza Town Freshly made breakfast & lunch for all yachts served on board by the Ibiza Regatta ribs, races to Ibiza Town and harbor in Ibiza Marina Magna @d’alt villa, AIX Rose happy hour, pricing ceremony & 3-course AIX dinner at The Harbour Club. Rest of late evening/night is free time to enjoy Ibiza nightlife.
Friday, June 5th – Race day 3 to Cala Comte/Es Nautic Freshly made breakfast @Blue Marlin Marina, race to and finish passed Cala Comte with spectacular floating party. In the evening a grand dinner and rooftop party at Marina Club Es Nautic,with drinks, final pricing, closing ceremony and own DJ.
Weekend, June 6th/7th – Departures Sail or explore the island at own time, departures and return yachts to port of origin.
